Home business success three habits to have

There are many that have to happen for a home business to be successful. A home business is very similar to a regular business. The business has to be organized. You must also understand your target market and of course have a useful product or service for that market. If you are looking for tips for home business success, please consider the following.

Many people expect that a home business will be easy to start and it will instantly make a wheel barrel full of money. Unfortunately this is not the case and many people fail at it because they lack the effort to make the business sustainable and successful.

Sadly, they most likely didn’t have the skills to make the business successful. I’m sure most people want the skills. However, they did not empower themselves to learn the skills necessary to be successful. So, if you want a chance at developing a successful home business, become a student of the game and learn and develop the right skills.

It is important to know as much about your target market as you can possibly learn. Market knowledge is of up most importance. If you don’t know your market, then you don’t know what you are selling. Knowing the need of your market gives you the advantage on what products to sell them. Knowledge also provides direction on how to market to prospective clients. Having an understanding your market in and out will help give you the direction you need to make a successful business plight.

You should also look at your home business as a long term commitment. If you look at the long term you can develop a vision of your business. Having vision will help build short and long term goals. Don’t expect to be a millionaire over night. That is a short term and possibly an unreachable goal. Expect to work hard and build and develop your business over time.

Make three month and six month goals to have your business reach a certain level. In reality, it could take a couple of years to make the business profitable. Whatever you decide your goals to be, you should envision yourself working towards those goals.

One of the most import skills to home business success is to research and know competition. Get out there in the world and talk to others to see what they are doing. You can learn what is successful and things to avoid.

If you want a chance at achieving home business success, obtain the skills necessary so you can work towards the big picture. Knowing your market, long term vision and researching the competition.

Starting a business on the internet- secrets

It is easy starting a business on the Internet. There are thousands and thousands of so-called businesses being launch every day on the Internet, but are they really businesses? Are all those thousands of sites and business getting indexed on the top of the search engines real businesses with real systems set-up?

Out of 10 businesses being started right now, as of standard 07 statistics 95% of them, are predicted to fail in the first five years. Such 2007 fact is based on online averages without counting the offline nightmares. So the question is: how can you start an online business, successfully?

One of the greatest facts that a New York Times bestseller named Robert Kiyosaki, said in his best selling book, Rich Dad Poor Dad - that if you work in the business, you are self-employed and you do not own a business. That is true indeed.

When it comes to starting a business on the Internet, you need to have the vision of potentially having the business in other people hands. In other words, you hire and outsource professionals for getting the job very well done.

Professionals who own a talent in departments such as: web design, programming, marketing and doing just about anything that will delay your goals with the business. The primary schedule the majority of entrepreneurs are mostly keeping as their major daily goal regimen, is marketing.

The reason for having marketing as their weekly and monthly labor work in their business is because many of us can averagely sell - specially if you have your own company and have started a home-based-business.

So the edifying point to answer is:

Should I outsource and hire professionals for web design, programming and customer service, if the budget lets us?

If starting a business on the Internet successfully and profiting both short-term and long term is in your goals, you should include outsourcing and hiring professionals for certain task as much your budget permits. How to start an online business is easy, you just purchase hosting, put up a website and start buying traffic from pay-per-clicks, right?

Sure, but starting a successful business with an integrated team committed to the growth of your company is a whole different story. Be sure to have in mind, working at the business, instead of in the business. No matter if it is a Google Adsense business, affiliate business or information marketing business - starting a business on the Internet should be done outsourcing and hiring other professionals for faster success and long term growth.

Most important home theater component

The most important component of a home theater depends upon the person, equipment, budget and space everything is set up in, including seating, lighting, flooring, etc. Here are components carrying the most importance.

Location

Left to chance, the set up on the entire home theater system and area could be chaotic. For example, there needs to be room for the projector to show on the screen without interference from anything (high furniture, misplaced lights, etc.) Not to mention, if the main theater viewing screen is not the focal point of the room, many guests will not be able to view anything well, there could be a lack of seating for the right gaming and other screens, quarters could be cramped, remotes and other tools and minor equipment disorganized – resulting in not much fun!

Needs Met

Likewise, if family needs are left to chance, chaos could rain. Let’s say the family budget is a bit tight. The teenagers all have an Xbox console, compatible gaming accessories and games (hence the budget is tight now). Everything is purchased, assembled, placed, up and running. And oops, you realize your wife bought a Playstation instead of an Xbox 360. Could be no biggie, however, the kids wanted to use their old games and compatible Xbox gear and really wanted the Xbox 360 to play live games with their friends who also have the system. Bummer. Plus you really didn’t need a DVD or VCR, but she bought those as add-ons and you cannot return them (or the Playstation). The final straw is that your super-duper speakers are not the kind that work best with your lower-grade media center. So sound quality will be lacking. Had needs been met, this chaos would be eliminated.

Set Up

Ditto chaos with set up, if left untested. As a Tim the Toolman (from TV) example, if you set up all your equipment, hook up all the cables, etc. then rush off to work, not bothering to thoroughly check systems out, uh-oh! You may come home, deactivate your home alarm, and set off your home theater system – all at the same time. And ditto with the video and audio components. Your audio could crank its highest resolution and burst your windows.

Misc Items

Of course same thing with your additional items; your VCR, DVD player, gaming console and other equipment not mentioned above, your chairs, shelves, storage, lighting, organizers and anything else. No one want to trip over a couch, getting up from watching a movie!

So take time to place importance on the main components of your home theater system.

Looking for info on epidural steroid injections

You’re at the right stuff, if you are looking for epidural steroid injections. The epidural steroid injections are the long lasting steroid injections given in the Epidural space to treat severe back pains. The epidural steroid injections diminish the nerves tenderness or swelling in the Epidural space that successively lessens soreness, tingling & numbness and other signs caused by nerve irritation or swelling.

Epidural steroid injections are not new discovery. The use of epidural steroid injections to treat low back pain was initially acknowledged in 1901. For the first time, epidural steroid injections were used to treat low back pain with associated sciatica in 1952. Now-a-days, epidural steroid injections act as a vital part of non-surgical management of low back pain.

The injecting procedure is too simple, which involves inserting a needle thru skin and thicker tissues. Epidural steroid injections contain a combination of local anesthetic like lidocaine or bupivacaine and the steroid medication triamcinolone – Aristocort or methylprednisolone – Depo-medrol, Celestone-Soluspan. Epidural steroid injections place this influential anti-inflammatory medication straightly around the spinal nerves. The three different ways to perform an epidural steroid injection are caudal block,

translumbar and transforaminal.

Epidural steroid injections may be given by different physicians comprising anesthetists, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, interventional radiologists, and others trained in this technique. Mainly, the patients are given a sequence of three epidural steroid injections with a time gap of one week.

With this program, lots of patients get relief of symptoms within a few weeks. Often this assists manage the inflammatory process and may provide continuous relief. Like other medical procedures, epidural steroid injections are not risk-free. There is a possibility of fallouts and complications from the needle puncture and medications used. Side-effects from epidural steroid injections are uncommon, but some of the fallouts seen include bleeding, infection, dural tears, headache, increased blood sugar, and diabetics.

It is significant that patients scheduled for epidural steroid injections adopt the pre-procedure directions provided. Some of the instructions include discontinuing certain medicinal drugs such as blood thinning agents comprising aspirin, warfarin, or clopidogrel that can raise the bleeding risk and hence epidural hematoma formation.

Sell a business not a product

Business has changed immensely since the first incident of a sales man selling a product to a needy person. At one time, a great salesman marked himself by his ability to peddle a product to someone who had no idea that he needed the product. Today that same salesman has made his mark by not only selling his product, but by selling the ability to sell. We call this multi-level marketing.

The MLM business, while often deemed as a shady line of work and even illegal at times, has a basic philosophy: earn money both selling a product and teaching others to sell the product well. The typical MLM business begins with a single salesperson. That individual markets his product accordingly and finds a decent customer base. While he is looking for customers for his product, he is also looking for that one person who believes in his product so much that he would sell it himself. Once the original salesperson has found such an individual, he will ask that person to become a salesperson under him. Not only is our original salesman a salesperson, but he has instantly become a manager. At this point companies will vary on their division of profits.

All participants in the MLM business world will offer the newly promoted salesperson/manager a cut of the profits of his new salesperson. The MLM business turns illegal when that new manager earns profits just from his new salesperson instead of primarily from the sale of the product.

Varieties of MLM business participants have made news in the business world, both for their success and failures. Those who approach the theory illegally end up with massive fines. Those who perform well in the business and find a way to make MLM work have made MLM business history. The business world as a result of successful companies is booming with moms-turned-sales people thanks to the ease and allure of this business practice.

Owning a new car is an expensive business

According to the AA, the average cost of running a small family car over 10,000 miles per year was Ј5,611, up from Ј5,534 in 2006. Depreciation is the main cost issue to consider, accounting for around half the annual running costs.

Fixing your annual costs by renting a car for up to two or three years is becoming more and more popular, according to Ling Valentine (34), the extrovert Chinese immigrant owner of LINGsCARS. com.

This method of financing a brand new car, (commonly referred to by the catch-all phrase "leasing") avoids increasing interest rates and APRs, by fixing the monthly rental of a new car in a simple, clear figure. This monthly payment can then be compared on a like-for-like basis across a wide range of new cars, something that is almost impossible with the many different "offers" surrounding traditional finance.

"The monthly cost depends on several factors", says Ling, from her Gateshead 'World Headquarters'. "First I take the discounted price of the new cars I get from ordering in bulk, often from dealers who need to shift volume to hit targets. Then, I check around a dozen different contract-hire finance providers, who will each value the residual value differently, guessing what the car will be worth to them at the end of the lease term. Finally, I package this together, making sure my own overheads are dramatically less than those of other providers, including the franchised car dealers and car companies themselves. I do not have dozens of expensive glass-palace showrooms to run."

The result is that LINGsCARS provides, at the touch of a button on a web-browser, a price list of over 400 different brand-new makes and models of cars, all with an easily comparable monthly rental figure. Ling even does something which is unheard of in the new car trade, and lists every car in price order, allowing visitors to her website the ability to compare cars from a Ј111 a month Chevrolet Matiz to a Ј735 a month Range Rover. No car dealer in the UK allows that "street-price" comparison, across such a wide range. She lists prices based on annual mileages of 10, 15 and 20,000 miles, suiting most peoples' use; "You are rewarded for driving less, a very Green way of doing things", she claims.

New car dealerships often require you to put down a large deposit and then take out a finance deal on a brand new car, or the alternative is to take a loan and write a large cheque. Ling’s argument is why tie up large amounts of your capital or borrowings in a car? "I only ask for three-months rentals as an initial payment, followed by a direct debit payment every month. For a nice new car costing around Ј300 a month, such as a SAAB 9-5, or a Kia Sorento 4x4, or an Alfa GT or the latest Honda CRV, that means you only have Ј900 invested, and you are paying the rest month-by-month as you use the car. At the end of the agreement, the car is simply returned to the finance company, you can't keep it. You have just paid for the use of the car. It is impossible to fall into negative equity, and there is no lump sum to pay at the end."

"I would suggest you put your spare cash into your house or your savings, not into a big deposit on a new car, which is a depreciating asset", says Ling.

The necessary oil and filter servicing is cheap, Ling insists, as the cars are brand new and never fall due for an MOT and are unlikely to need major items like brakes and tyres. She says road tax is fully included for the term; "I deliver these new cars to your door, all you have to do is insure them, service them and put fuel in them".

Breakdowns, which are unlikely on new cars, are fully covered by the manufacturers’ warranty. Some AA or RAC type cover is included for at least the first year. A big benefit is safety; …new cars have the highest safety ratings and the latest safety equipment built in, an important consideration for families.

Talking about traditional new car ownership, the AA says: "As most owners come to pay their motoring bills, each is more expensive than last year's – undermining claims that cars are getting cheaper to run."

Ling insists she can change that; "As long as you are credit-worthy and you look after the car like it is your own, you can release the equity in your current car and get into the cycle of changing your car for a brand-new one. You can do this very cheaply, every two or three years", Ling says.

It is no wonder that in 2007, LINGsCARS rented over Ј28m of new cars, and that Ling has been awarded "Best non-franchise motor industry website of the year*". In this Beijing Olympic year, this is one Chinese who is already winning medals – in the UK!

Tired of sea swimming beach life and hot summer visit prague

The holiday season – the best time for travelling – has already come and I am ready to invite you to one of the most beautiful cities in the whole world. Do you plan to spend this summer in Prague? Would you like to know how to enjoy your stay in the capital of Czech Republic? Or do you sill hesitate what to do in the late summer? I have some useful tips for you all.

Prague is a city of many faces. It has its long and sometimes mysterious history, breathing from each building in the old centre. On the other hand, it is a modern city with a lot of new.

The first thing you come across when browsing through any Prague’s tour guides is surely Prague Castle, Charles Bridge or Old Town Square. These three places are undoubtedly the main points of Prague’s history, connected with many important persons and occasions. They are really worth seeing. Because of their popularity, they are almost anytime too crowded, therefore not so safe. If you are early bird, I do recommend you to come there in the early morning, when you can walk freely without any noise and people and feel and smell the magic of unforgettable city.

For those, who like trips with tour guides, there are some agencies organising various tours through Prague. You can choose the right thematic walk just for you.

My second tip is connected with typical Czech cuisine. Czech beer is almost world known, but what about Czech meals? Have you ever tried garlic soup, bouillon with vermicelli, roasted sirloin beef in sour cream sauce with dumplings, roast pork with sauerkraut and dumplings or dill sauce? If your answer is “no”, you meet with a part of our culture in any Czech restaurants in Prague. There is a variety of typical Czech restaurants that offer Czech cuisine, Czech beer and Czech folklore as well. In this way you can enjoy your evening with very good meal and also get to know character of local people.

Do you prefer night life to sightseeing? Prague is ready to meet your wishes too. You can make a choice for many music clubs in the whole city where you hear music of all genres – everything from jazz, pop & rock, oldies, ska or reggae to dance music, hip hop, house, metal or punk. Whatever you like. Most of them are situated in the centre – on Wenceslas Square or within a walking distance from there.

Of course, there are a lot of other possibilities how to spend your night – sailing on the Vltava River, night Ghost tour through Prague or visiting theatre or multiplex cinema.

My last tip is mainly for families with children. Small children don’t want to sight-see the whole day that’s why I recommend you a visit of following places.

There is one place that is never failure for small travellers and it is a zoo. Prague’s zoo belongs to the largest in Europe. It has a lot of programmes for visitors such as feeding of animals, their presentation or training. The popularity of Prague’s zoo still rises.

The second possibility is the new aqua park with swimming pools, toboggans, whirlpools or river with back flow. In addition, there is a massage and wellness centre with sauna to your disposal. The new aqua park is very nice place for enjoying the day with the whole family.

Prague is an amazing city with a lot of opportunities what to do and you can never be bored there. See you in Prague!

Finding the best equity home loan rate

What is a home equity line of credit?

A home equity line of credit is a special type of revolving credit where you give your home as security. Communication is vital for a healthy relationship

When people are told that they need to communicate more they often think that that is an open invitation to talk but there is a complete difference between talking and communicating.

Communicating is an art, and art of combining the ability to express your opinions and feelings in such a way as to ensure that the person or people you are talking to understand what you are trying to say with the ability to listen and understand another person’s point of view.

The number of times I have sat in a room, often in meetings and at conferences and I’ve just watched and listened to what is going on around me. It is totally fascinating when whole groups of people have no ability to listen to their colleagues, partners or friends and therefore cannot understand or comprehend any opinion other than their own.

What could have been covered in five minutes or learned in half an hour often takes hours or days just because people refuse to sit back, listen and understand.

Over the years it’s amazing the number of times people are provided with information that, if they acted upon, could totally alter a relationship, career or the success of a business. But, because the sheer lack of peoples ability to listen to and think through another persons point of view unique opportunities pass them by.

Relationships are no different to the work environment other than there are, usually, just two of you. Often, what could be a marriage made in heaven is destroyed by the sheer inability to communicate. The most successful relationships, be it business or personnel are those whereby both parties have strong verbal and listening skills.

Many relationship problems begin with poor communication. Couples often feel that their partner should know what they are thinking and how they feel so do not communicate and then wonder why they feel neglected and under valued.

How many people decide not to tell their partner something just because they don’t know how to say it and then the problem just eats away at the relationship until there is no relationship left? What a waste, just the sheer ability to share a problem can make what seemed to be an insurmountable issue a tiny little blip on a large horizon.

So whenever you feel stressed or don’t know what to do don’t just bottle it up, talk about it, seek advice and listen to the answer. Don’t keep quiet when you know in your heart a problem has to be aired and don’t put off until tomorrow what has to be sorted today. Tomorrow never comes!!

It is how you say something that will ruin a relationship and not what you have to say. The wrong way is just to blurt out something that you know will aggravate or distress your partner. The last thing you want is for them to get defensive, storm off or burst into floods of tears. You want the person you are trying to communicate with to be open and perceptive and in order to be able to achieve this, your timing and approach has to be right.

Every individual is different what will work with one person won’t necessarily work with another and with some people all you can do is sew the seed and then let them walk away and work it out for themselves.

One person I know never actually listens to anyone. She is one of those people who is always right no matter what, hasn’t a clue about being a team player and operates within a zero tolerance zone. Traditional approaches and method of reasoning just don’t work and alls you can do is plant the seed of thought which eventually develops into her, own acceptable idea.

Given peoples individuality you need to learn what, is the right approach for you and your partner. Make sure that you never start a discussion if you don’t have time to finish it, don’t insist on a debate when one of you is off out to work, dealing with the kids or just relaxing in front of their favourite TV programme. If the timing seems to be never right ask the question ‘when would it be a good time for us to just sit down and talk?’. Whatever you do, do not let yourself appear agitated either in what you say or how you say it. Body language can just as easily put your partner on the defensive as what you say to them. Even if your partner is vying for a fight just don’t react.

Remember, the first golden rule, approaching defensive with defensive is a sure way to failure.

One of the key ways to improve communication is to develop strong listening skills. Couples often fail to listen to what their partner has to say, interrupt and give the impression that no matter what is said they won’t change their mind. One trick to ensure that you have listened and you do understand is to repeat what you have heard. This will demonstrate that you have listened to what was said and by repeating it back you have the opportunity to comprehend and understand.

How often do we try and work through a problem and it’s only at the point we are explaining the issue to someone else does the magic light bulb switch on which enables us to come up with the answer.

If you are taking an exam would you expect to know everything just by being told it once? For most people I would say not. We have to work at it and work at it hard.

No one ever said marriage would be easy it’s just another lesson we have to learn as we experience life but if you want to save your marriage and make it even more special than it was before then there is very little to stop you.

Relationship problems can lay heavy on your mind, become a burden and what was originally a small issue can develop into an insurmountable mountain.

If you begin to feel that marital issues are beginning to weigh heavily on your mind, take a break and do something you enjoy and preferably with your partner. If you can refocus your attention of the better things in life, day to day issues always seem that much smaller. Spending a little time together and enjoying each other's company could enable you and your partner to recapture some of the feelings that have been lost through constant arguing and help you regain a positive perspective on your relationship.

Just one last word of advice, when you are feeling down and feel you no longer want to save your marriage just remember that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

If you believe you have financial issues now what do you think it will be like when you split your assets, if you feel you don’t have time to do things what will it be like when you are on your own or worse a single parent and if you feel lonely now how will you feel when every time you walk in your front door all’s you have is your own company. Now none of these thoughts have been aired to encourage you to stay in a bad relationship but rather to make you consider whether or not yours is as bad as you think.

You are the master of your own destiny and if you want to turn a bad marriage around you have the power at your fingertips.

Why 98 of home business owners are not profiting

These unskilled people can start a home business, where these failure tasks are done on their behalf by professional people. the company would:

- Advertise in their behalf

- do the follow up for them

- Talk, on their behalf with interested people

- close sales for them

And all would be done, by professional staff.

Is this a dream? Until now, it was, but know is a reality.

The company's founder and CEO is Bill Osterhout, a former fortune 500 company executive. Bill has been successfully involved in numerous business ventures since leaving his corporate position, including several online income opportunities.

Unfortunately, Bill found that while he had the skills and motivation to succeed, the vast majority of others striking off on their own to build their online fortunes failed. What appeared to Bill to be the point of failure was prospecting and marketing. Finding the time, will and determination to talk to massive amounts of strangers to find the

chosen few "qualified" buyers drives many individuals to failure. Correctly marketing a product or service to ensure it is received by the masses is another issue that leads many marketers into debt and frustration.

So, he decided to create his own enterprise, The Prosp. Network Inc., and named this system as PAS, Prosp. Automated System, because everything is done in behalf of the business owner, by professional and well trained staff.

And he did it, using the most advanced internet technology. People who are actively using the search engines, looking for a home business, or ways to generate some extra income working from home, are droven to the company website, where they watch a small 6 minute movie that explains how the company works. After that, if they are interested, they leave their data on a form. The system filters the interested prospects, and the company professional staff, contacts by phone, only the ones that showed interest in beeing contacted. After that, 82% of those prospect are converted in new business ownerґs, with a 100% money back guarantee.

Pop windows in internet marketing

A few years ago it seemed that every time one opened a web page one would be bombarded with offers for this or that. Pop Windows had arrived with a vengeance.

As time elapsed the point was reached where surfing the Internet was almost like playing a video game; when the ad appeared one would try to close it before another one arose. This annoyance factor is precisely why we have seen the decline in the use of pop-up windows on today’s Internet; surfers simply do not even look at pop-ups anymore. They close the window out before even reading the ad. Very often, a surfer will even leave your site if there are too many pop-up ads. It is simply not worth the hassle of closing those windows while trying to obtain the information that your site has to offer. This information, while valuable, is not as valuable as the surfer’s time.

Studies have shown however, that even with these setbacks, pop-up windows are still an effective method of Internet marketing. Is there some way that pop-up windows can be less irritating and still be effective? Yes! What if the pop-up ad were seen upon exiting your site instead of entering? This would allow the surfer to obtain the information needed from your site, feeling that they were able to come and go quickly without being hassled by other ads and offers, all the while making the surfer happy. You have left the surfer with a positive attitude and he or she are therefore more likely to respond to the pop advertisement.

This is being accomplished more and more by using what is being called pop-under windows. When the surfer comes to your site, the ad is opened discretely behind your web page. Then, upon leaving your site, after obtaining all the information needed, the ad will be seen and is therefore more likely to initiate a response. Since the surfer has the information initially required, he has achieved his objective and is now open to do other things; ideally respond to the pop under advertisement.

Not all pop-windows are created equal however. There are some things that you can do to make your pop-windows, whether pop-up or pop-under more effective. The pop-window should be easy to “escape” from. If the surfer does not want to see the ad, but has a hard time closing it out, they will likely become frustrated and could leave your site all together. You should either use a button that will allow the surfers to close the window. Make sure that the “x” is easily visible. Another good idea is to use a script that utilizes cookies. Cookies will prevent pop-windows from overloading the surfer since you can decide the frequency of the pop-windows, rather than each time a page is opened. Also be sure that there is no more than one pop-window per page.

When creating a pop-window, you will be asked to fill out a short information form, select the length of cookies, and choose the layout of the pop-window. When choosing the design of the pop-window, you can increase the effectiveness by creating a large headline that includes benefits that will be most appealing to the customer. You should also consider using incentives, and lastly do not ask the customer to read a long and drawn out advertisement. Keep the message simple yet powerful and your pop-ads will be sure to generate profits for your site.

Nfl-throwback-jersey-16

If there is one gift that is ideal for a football fan, it’s an NFL throwback jersey. This item is suitable for any occasion and it is a fantastic idea for a long-time follower of a team. You can find an NFL throwback jersey in a number of different places and you have plenty of options to consider.

The first thing to think about is how the item will be used. Will the recipient wear the NFL throwback jersey or will it be displayed in a large shadow box on the wall of a game room? If the item will be worn and used quite often then you should try a product made out of durable materials that are built to last.

When it comes to durability you really can’t beat the authentic NFL throwback jersey. This version is just like the real thing and is the ideal gift for most savvy football fans. The authentic football jersey does require a bit of an investment but it is well worth the extra cash considering how well the item is made.

Showcase football jerseys are a little different. If the item isn’t going to be worn then you can save yourself some money by choosing a replica NFL throwback jersey. This option is less expensive but the product is very similar to the real thing. You can display this football jersey for years.

Replicas are wonderful but if you have a chance to get a good deal on an authentic NFL throwback jersey, jump on it. An item like this is a real treasure for a football fan, similar to a rare antique for some collectors. The value lies in its rarity.

The search for a specific NFL football jersey isn’t always easy but there are plenty of places to shop right online. Instead of running your self ragged looking for a rare NFL throwback jersey you can simply browse through any number of online stores. You may even find a place to request a jersey from a certain player from the past.

It’s pretty easy to grab a football jersey representative of a modern day player. An NFL football jersey is a thoughtful gift because you have to consider the recipients favorite player from years gone by. You are guaranteed a surprised (and appreciative) response if you take the time to find an NFL throwback jersey from a favorite former player.

Sizing up your hats

If you are looking for a quality hat to wear to your favorite sporting event, you may have a challenge in your hands. One of the most popular hat stores in the world is Lids. http://Lids. com features hats for baseball, football, hockey, basketball, soccer, racing, and other sports. The company carries a wide variety, from team hats, major league sports, and NCAA. In addition, Lids carries many sizes and colors.

When buying a hat, you will need to buy the correct size. Trying hats on is the best way to determine which size you should buy, but if you are shopping online, you may have to measure your head in order to choose the correct size. A cloth tape measure is the best tool to use when measuring your head. If possible, have someone help. It is best to measure the crown of your head, which is very top above the eyes, as this is where the hat will sit. While many hats have adjustable straps, some do not. Another way to determine your hat size is to find the size of the most comfortable hat you own.

To find the right size hat you have to actually measure your head. With a cloth tape measure, wrap it around your head about an inch above your ears, keeping it as even as possible. Write down the measurement if you fear it may be forgotten and then check a hat size conversion chart. Typically, small hats will fit a head measured at between 21 and a quarter inch and 21 and five-eighths inch. Also considers six and three quarters to six and a half in hat sizes. Remember, though that the materials used and the construction of the hat may make different size hats fit differently.

If you are searching for baseball caps to give to someone, you should find out which size they normally wear in order to purchase the right one. While many hat companies have a return policy, doing your research before buying a hat will make the gift more memorable. Many people enjoy wearing hats that show off their favorite teams or leagues. Giving a hat as a gift will be appreciated. Kids hats are also available.

Over time, you may notice your hat is losing its shape or it may be dirty from wearing it too often. It is not recommended that you throw the hat into the washing machine as it will lose its shape, unless you purchase a special plastic container that will keep the hat from being crushed. Hand washing baseball hats with water and detergent will help you keep your hat looking like new. Some hats many need to be dry cleaned because they have a lot of intricate embroidery on them. Read the care instructions carefully before washing your new era hat.

In addition, you can also choose to bend your hat in particular manners to get them to look the way you want them to look. Fashion hats can be worn for many occasions besides sporting events. Many people wear them to cover up a bad hair day, or to keep the sun out of their eyes. Hats have become a symbol for causal days and relaxing. Many people collect hats as well, lining them up on hangers on their walls or even stacking them in cases.

Teens and sex -- 5 must ask questions

What I am about to tell you may save the life of your child. In today's world the safety and well-being of your teenager depends on his awareness and knowledge of sex.

It is critical that you, as a responsible and loving parent address that issue in detail. Here are some key questions to broach the subject, to let your child know you care and want the best for him.

Recognize he may be reluctant to speak about something so personal with you if you are not accustomed to sharing feelings and intimate topics. You may feel embarrassed bringing up the subject.

Before you do, be sure you can answer these questions for yourself. Also, decide what you are comfortable sharing about your personal experiences and beliefs on the subject of teen sexuality and activity.

* To start, simply ask your teenager, "What kind of questions do you have or what do you want to know more about regarding sex?" You will certainly grab his attention.

* You may want to throw out some information he is unlikely to know, something like, "Do you know that the sex partners you choose can influence your vulnerability to certain types of cancer?"

The object here is to get your child talking-or at least willing to talk. He may tell you he knows everything he needs to know. Where do you go from there?

* Ask, "Do you know that sex is not the same thing as love?" Watch his face for acknowledgement, disagreement, or confusion. Follow up with, "Sex is physical while love is emotional".

Listen to him. Pay attention to what he says and to the words he does not speak. Notice his body language, hear the underlying message, the words between the lines, his tone, word choice and pace. Note his emotions, eye contact, and whether he is at ease or trying to conceal any discomfort.

If you do observe that he is uncomfortable, tell him you noticed and ask if he wants to talk about what is bothering him. Assure him that you are not here to judge him.

Most important, let him know you are having this talk because you love him and no matter what he has done or is thinking about doing, he is safe talking with you. Tell him nothing can change your love for him.

And then go where he takes you. If he chooses to be silent, let him be silent. It is okay to have silence. You do not need to speak. He may be processing.

Give him the time and space he needs to do what he needs to do. He knows you are available when he wants to talk.

Facts are key. If he has unanswered questions, where can he go for accurate information? The streets, his friends, and the media may not be the best place to find what he seeks on the subject of sex.

* Be sure you ask your child, "Do you know that protection is not a 100% guarantee of health, safety or an absolute deterrent to pregnancy?" Be sure he knows the consequences of the actions he may or may not take.

* Follow-up with, "Do you want help or advice in obtaining protection?" That question is especially important for girls who may want to see a gynecologist and may not know how to find a good one who can take care of her needs.

If your teen uses the Internet, know that more than 61,000 searches were done in the month of April on phrases dealing with teen pornography. What pages is your child visiting? Ask. Know that if you impose your will he will go elsewhere to pursue his desires. Build trust with your teenager.

The purpose in having this talk is education. I do not, in any way, shape, or form, advocate teen sex. However, statistics show that youngsters as young as 13 engage in sexual activity. Have the talk now.

When hormones and peer pressure kick in, a wise and educated youngster, who has previously given thought to and made decisions about his actions, has a better chance of living the life he wants than one who has not prepared himself for the inevitable emotions and situations that will come up in life.

Actions and results, desirable and undesirable, reflect self esteem. To change behaviors, treat the cause not just the symptoms.

What is the cost, to you and to him, of not knowing where your teenager stands on sex?

Time management skills

As a Life Coach, and after coaching many different clients, I have come to realize that to effectively manage time, we need to first realize that time itself cannot be managed! We all get seven days a week and 168 hours within those seven days. This cannot be increased or changed in any way. However, what we can change, improve and manage is ourselves. In essence then, true time management now becomes management of ourselves – “self management!”

So being aware of this, we now know that it's not the amount of time we have that's important; it’s how effectively we use that time that makes the difference. Successful people have exactly the same amount of time in the day as each of us. The only difference is they use their time differently – more effectively.

You might say “I don’t have the time to commit to learning some time management skills”. I hear this a lot during life coaching sessions, but the fact is if this were true, do you really think you have the time not to?

Time management principles and techniques are usually quite simple to learn. They do not require deep thinking, a high I. Q or lots of preparation. In fact if you were to put the search term “Time Management Resources” into a search engine you will get dozens of websites offering help, advice, tips and suggestions on how to manage and prioritize your time.

To sum time management up I would say you need to ask yourself two questions:

1. Do I physically have enough time to do the tasks that are required of me? We only have so much time. Sometimes it’s not always physically possible to fit everything in. If this is the case then you need to prioritize and drop some of the low priority task/activities to claim some time back.

2. Do I fully optimize and use my time effectively? If the answer is NO then you might want to learn and implement some time management principles and techniques.

Below is a list of some time management (self management) techniques and tips that I use during life coaching. You may find a couple of them helpful yourself. They are in no particular order.

• Figure out when (what time of the day?) you work most efficiently.

• Establish your priorities for what you want to get done. Identify the tasks and activities that are the highest priority and eliminate those of low priority.

• Allow more time than you think you will need. This makes your schedule flexible and allows for the unexpected.

• Get into the habit of using your odd five minutes here and there more productively. Don’t just dismiss it as only five minutes – they add up throughout the week!

• Accomplish one or two important tasks rather than lots unimportant ones.

• Keep a calendar/diary. Mark all your important dates/tasks.

• Keep a list of "Things to Do" and mark them off as completed.

• Every day make a list of what you have to do tomorrow.

• When possible do the unpleasant tasks first.

• Tidiness makes your life easier and reduces stress.

• Allow time to relax, recharge and do nothing.

• Leave time in your schedule for un-planned activities.

• Know your strengths, skills and weakness.

• Ask yourself, "What am I doing that someone else could do for me?" Delegate!

• Don’t be scared to ask for help

• Bin things straight away to reduce the clutter (junk mail, newspapers and spam email etc).

• Divide large overwhelming tasks into smaller chunks, and attack them one at a time.

• Complete at least one task each day that you don't like to do, but know you should.

• Realize that all your email checking, surfing the internet and other procrastinations add up to hours of lost time each week (sometime even each day!)

• Watch less T. V. If you watch T. V for three hours a day from the age of five years old, by the time you are fifty five the amount of T. V you will have watched will be the equivalent to watching non-stop 24 hours a day for six years and three months. If you cut this down by just one hour a day, so then only watch two hours of T. V, you will have gained back over two years worth of time.

Sea turtles in north cyprus

These fascinating creatures come ashore on the deserted beaches of North Cyprus between May and August to nest and Alagadi Beach is classified as a special protected area.

While on your trip in Northern Cyprus, you may be intrigued to know that this is home to some of the most significant turtle housing beaches in the Mediterranean. The two species that live and nest in Northern Cyprus are endangered species. Just about 10% of the loggerhead and 30% of the green turtles in the Mediterranean nest in Northern Cyprus. Bearing in mind that as little as 300-400 green and 2000 loggerhead turtles are likely to live each year in the complete Mediterranean, it is critical that people do all they can to help and protect these near endangered species.

These North Cyprus Marine turtles start their lives on land, where they come out to emerge from eggs, just after 45-60 days of incubation on land and in the sand. When these turtles hatch and emerge they then begin to make the attempt to reach the sea, they swim anxiously out to sea waters where they stay put for the remaining years of their lives, the only break in this would be when a adult female will come to shore and lay her eggs.

It is projected that only one single hatchling out from two thousand will make it and survive to full adult life and maturity. As soon as they are 25-30 years old, and reach 1-2 meters in length, the adult females and males with set out and migrate to waters off nesting beaches to eat and reproduce. For the duration of a nesting season a female lays 3-4 nests, each carrying just about 100 eggs. she will nest every 1-3 years and will always return to the exact same beaches. There is no exact number on how long these marine turtles live but they have been suggested to live up to 160 years old.

They are two species of marine turtles that find themselves nesting in the North Cyprus Mediterranean and they would be the loggerhead, caretta caretta and the green turtle (chelonia mydas) the grand total number of both of these turtles has said to be a estimated 300-400 for the green and 2000 for the logghead females that nest each and every single year. Both of these species of sea turtles are endangered , more so with the green turtles. It has said to be that North Cyprus and Turkey seem to be the only nesting grounds these turtles come to love. There is over 80 beaches along North Cyprus that between may and October and monitored closely for the precious turtle activity.

While on your stay in North Cyprus and wish to see these lovely creatures you may indulge in a boating experience of the shore and see these turtles swimming, and with many places to see at night you might catch a glimpse of these night nesting turtles.

Group of Ecologists and students have been observing and helping to protect these rare animals from extinction for a number of years.

Some general information for you to keep on hand:

Mating time for these turtles is May/June

Hatching time is Aug/Sep

Nesting time is June/July

I hope that by through this article you can take away some general information on sea turtles in North Cyprus. If ever in the area on vacation or stay pay a visit to these wonderful beautiful creatures.

Visitors are welcome to observe this exciting experience!!!

Why asbestos is killing america

We all heard of Absestos and the horrible consequences it has in our health. Asbestosis is "a form of lung disease (pneumoconiosis)" which causes interstitial fibrosis or scarring of the lungs.

Asbestosis is progressive and, for the most part, irreversible. Respiratory impairment worsens with time, even if exposure to asbestos has ceased. Asbestosis is usually found in asbestos workers and not in the general public. People with asbestosis have shortness of breath, often along with a cough. Asbestos cretes Mesothelioma, and Mesothelioma is a form of cancer which affects mesothelial tissue in the lungs, peritoneum or pericardium.

The biggest concern mesothelioma is that can arise both from visceral and parietal peritoneum. It is diagnosed in advanced stages in most cases, and it often takes considerable time to arrive at the correct diagnosis, as the mean symptoms-to-diagnosis time reported is 122 days. The most frequently reported initial symptoms are abdominal pain (35), anorexia, marked weight loss, and ascites ; less frequently night sweats and hypercoagulability. Clinical presentation with fever of unknown origin, intestinal obstruction, or surgical emergency (due to acute inflammatory lesions) have been reported. Mesothelioma (cancer of the mesothelium) is a disease in which cells of the mesothelium become abnormal and divide without control or order. They can invade and damage nearby tissues and organs. Mesothelioma treatment if mesothelioma attorneys texas.

Mesothelioma is defined as an ICD-O histology code of 9050-9053. Data are presented for a five-year time period. Mesothelioma cell viability was decreased in a dose-dependent manner by lovastatin (5 to 30 microM). These effects were not reversed by exogenous growth factors or cholesterol, but were reversed by addition of doses of micro mevalonate, confirming that lovastatin affected mesothelioma viability by inhibiting mevalonate synthesis. This is based on the fact that Mesothelioma is a cancer of the thin lining surrounding the lung and this disease is almost always fatal, often within a few months of diagnosis.

The scary part about this ilness, is that mesothelioma has a much longer latency period compared with lung cancer (40 years versus 15-20 years), and mesothelioma is therefore likely to be found among workers who were first exposed to asbestos at an early age. Mesothelioma is always fatal. Mesothelioma has also been found in individuals who were exposed to asbestos only once decades earlier. The only known cause of mesothelioma is asbestos. Mesothelioma has a much longer latency period compared with lung cancer (40 years versus 15-20 years), and mesothelioma is therefore more likely to be found among workers who were first exposed to asbestos at an early age. Mesothelioma is always fatal.

Exposure to asbestos has also been associated with an increased incidence of esophageal, kidney, laryngeal, pharyngeal, and buccal cavity cancers. As with other known chronic occupational diseases, disease associated with asbestos generally appears about twenty years following the first occurrence of exposure: There are no known acute effects associated with exposure to asbestos. Exposure to ozone for several hours at relatively low concentrations has been found to significantly reduce lung function and induce respiratory inflammation in normal, healthy people during exercise. This decrease in lung function generally is accompanied by symptoms including chest pain, coughing, sneezing, and pulmonary congestion. Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) is a significant cause of lung cancers in people who themselves do not use tobacco. Between 3000 and 6000 lung cancer deaths per year in the United States are caused by exposure to ETS.

10 tips to shopping for printers

$Consider the printer’s DPI (dots per inch) capability, which is the resolution at which it can print photos and documents. The higher DPI (dots per inch) you have, the better quality you will have in either text or photo printouts.

$Consider the cost of ink. When purchasing a new printer, take a moment to compare prices among ink cartridges and make sure that you can afford frequent ink purchases if you plan to do a lot of printing.

$Take a look at the connector and make sure it’s compatible with your system. Most new printers connect via a USB port. Older ones connect using a parallel port, which is not commonly found on new PCs.

$When looking at the cost of ink, also look at the number of pages a single ink cartridge can print. If the page count is high, the cost of the ink may be reasonable. If the page count is low compared to other similar ink cartridges, you may want to select another printer that offers a better performing ink cartridge.

$Check out the warranty. All new electronics, including printers, carry a manufacturer’s warranty. Depending on the company, warranties can be valid anywhere from 90 days to 1 year and may include defects in material and/or workmanship. If your printer fails to perform correctly and develops a problem while under warranty, you will be glad that you saved the paperwork. Always keep the original purchase receipt and warranty information relating to your purchase.

$Buy from a name that you trust. When shopping for any item, it is best to purchase from a manufacturer that you know produces a quality product and especially when it comes to a substantial electronics purchase.

$Consider the size and weight of the printer. This is important for both cleaning general convenience. If your desk is small, you may not want a bulky printer taking up most of your space. At the same time, you may not want to lift on a heavy piece of equipment when cleaning your work station. A lightweight and compact style may be better, especially if your office is at home.

$Make sure that your computer is capable of running the printer software, which means it may require a specific processor type and speed, available memory, etc.

$Make sure that the printer you purchase has all of the features and capabilities that you need. For instance, if your primary goal is to produce realistic photos and you also plan to print written documents from time to time, consider the purchase of a photo printer. You can change the quality of printing to suit either images or documents or even a combination of both if you plan to print photo newsletters.

$Make sure that the printer has all of the necessary connector cables and that you will not need to buy any additional hardware prior to finalizing your purchase. If you need to purchase a USB cable, which is often the case with many new printers, you will want to purchase it at the same time to save on shipping if ordering online or having to make a special trip if you purchase locally.

10 ways to convert visitors to leads

Introduction

It takes more than mere information to engage website visitors. They need a reason to make an inquiry, subscribe to your newsletter, or buy your product. So how can you get the visitor to stop skirting around the edges and come right on in? Take a look at the following 10 ways that can help convert your site visitors to leads.

1. Improve your Web Copy

As with all good web copy, trim the fat and give them the cold hard facts. Visitors want to know how the service or product will fulfill their want or need. Compelling, interactive, well written content will pull the reader in. How can you make sure you have good web copy? Follow some of the basic principles of good copywriting and you’ll be fine. Make the copy concise, and speak to the target audience. Remove all the hyped up marketing lingo such as ‘we have a fantastic product’ and ‘we’ve had overwhelming results.’

2. It’s About the Customer

Everyone wants to know “What’s in it for me?” The customer may have a problem and want a solution, or they are looking to invest in a product but need to be convinced it’s a good choice. Your goal here? Show them the solution. Tell them the benefits of the product or service, rather than highlighting the features. The features won’t get their problem solved or make the sale, but the benefits will.

3. Be Approachable

Use an active and friendly voice to engage the customer and keep them motivated to continue through the process of clicking on your newsletter link or making a sale. An active voice is energetic and approachable, and ultimately, it’s more personal.

4. Trust is a factor

Trust is a big factor, so create plenty to go around. A visitor can’t see you, so the issue of trust is even more important on the internet. I’m paid every day by a person I have never met, now that’s trust! How do I know I could trust him? The first time I worked with him, he outlined the process and followed through with my expectations: I was paid on time and in full.

If you are exchanging personal information online, privacy also comes into play. Assure customers you will maintain their privacy. Tell them why you are collecting data and make them aware of what you are using it for. Place your privacy policy on your website so it can be clearly accessed. And if you are engaging in online sales, increase the trust factor by offering a variety of ways to order your product, such as via email, by phone, over a secure payment system such as Paypal.

5. Look professional

Almost half of website sales are lost because the website fails to provide the trust test with the customer. A website with an unprofessional look and feel makes the customer uneasy and gives the illusion that you are not trustworthy. Bye, bye sale.

6. Make an offer

Make the customer an offer they can’t refuse. Provide them with something for free, such as an information package or set of articles: For example:

•5 great advantages to using a virtual assistant at invesp. com. Receive our special report on 5 advantages that will reduce your expenses and increase your bottom line.

•The best web copy ever in a short time with a small investment. Join our "VIP Club" at www. invesp. com to beat others with new killer web copy.

7. Position yourself

Tell the customer what makes you special and different from the other guy. Why should they do business with you? For example, my position as a writer is that I am diverse and able to write in a variety of mediums. This makes me unique, because some writers love writing copy but hate writing proposals, or they’ll write a sales pitch but won’t write a sales manual. Stand for something and make it known.

8. Forms

Give the customer a reason to fill out a form or sign up for a newsletter as a way to continue to communicate with you. Once you have their permission to contact them, you can start offering tools, information, and benefits to communicating with you. Maybe you are sending them information packages, or keeping them in the loop with special offers. Whatever it is, getting them to sign up will increase the likelihood of a lead.

9. Maintain loyalty

You can build and maintain customer loyalty in a variety of ways. Perhaps one of the most important way is to keep your promises. Are you offering a durable product with free shipping or a solid service with a money back guarantee? Stick to your promise and follow through and your customer will remember it. All customers like to be valued, and value builds loyalty.

10. Track it

Track what your customers are looking for. Did they find their information or product? Ask them how they got to you? What words did they use to search and find you? Ask the customer what they liked and what distracted them. Your customer is a great tool to gauge success. Use it.

Few rules of cell phone decorum

The invention of cell phones (celular) may be equated at par with the invention of radio, telephone or the television. Its usage has grown to astronomical proportions. Almost every human being from a bubbling teenager to an old infirm individual keeps a cell phone (celular). Previously it was considered a status symbol, but now with prices hitting rock bottom, it has become a necessity with everyone, right from the daily wage laborer to the company president.

Along with its wide spread use has also come its wide spread abuse. You can find people talking, nay, yelling on their cell phones (celular) at every nook and corner. The ease-of-use and its superb functionality have made people go into some sort of a virtual phantom private world, where they lose consciousness of their surroundings. They are so absorbed with the voice coming from their devices and their incessant loud reply to it that they forget they are social beings living in a civilized society, where other persons also have a right to silence. Cell phone users, almost every one of them, assume that the society has a high tolerance for their constant chatter and they care-a-dime even if you hear their private conversations, shocking revelations or intimate sweet nothings.

It is common to hear people talking on cell phones (celular) at hospitals, job interviews, funerals, weddings, sporting events, cinemas, theatres, auditoriums, conference halls, and at business meetings. Hearing Chopin`s or Mozart`s Overture suddenly going off in Broadway shows is not uncommon, although mobile phones have to be strictly switched off or has to be set to vibrate or mute according to the rules. Libraries, auditoriums, museums, hospitals, and all enclosed places for public use like elevators, conference rooms, restaurants, and cafeterias are filled with people laughing, crying, or going hysterical while speaking to someone invisible. With hands free cell phones (celular), you can see a person talking with full dramatic gestures that a few years back, would have been considered a sure sign of insanity and madness.

Most road accidents happen because people talk more and drive less. It has been found that holding the cell phone (celular) while driving is one of the main reasons of car accidents, as the conversation itself is distracting; hence, the accidents even happen with hands free cell phones. Technological change is forcing the society to define new norms and is leading towards a paradigm shift in societal acceptance of what is termed as cell phone behavior. The thin line between private and personal has vanished. The wireless and Gen Y kids believe it is their birthright to use cell phones (celular) and other technological products anywhere and anytime, without care or respect for anyone.

This use or abuse of the cell phones (celular) urgently demands enforcement of civilized practices, which may be called as mobile manners, mobile etiquette, or rules of cell phone decorum. This enforcement cannot be done by the organized agencies of law, like the courts or the police, but it has to be enforced by the public, by you, by me, and by everyone.

People should follow certain dos and don`ts while using their cell phones (celular). Private conversations should never be done in public. They should also understand that speaking at a low volume gives more clarity at the other hand than yelling and shouting. They should realize that the vibrate feature can always be used at gatherings, meetings, auditoriums, and all other public places.

Multitasking while talking can only distract and never prove beneficial. They should never talk on their cell phones (celular) while shopping, driving, crossing the streets, or while doing other personal business. Keeping the conversation short and brief has to be encouraged. And everyone should tell everyone about these mobile manners or these few rules of cell phone decorum. Then only will a change happen. A change much needed for the betterment of the individual, the society, and for the technological marvel - the cell phone (celular).

Shaking the blues of depression

uppose you are feeling lonely. You notice you do not have an intimate relationship, and that makes you feel lonely. But is it the absence of the relationship that makes you feel lonely? Or do you feel lonely when you pay extra attention to the fact that you do not have the relationship you desire. When you are engrossed in a really good movie or a compelling book, you completely forget that you are lonely. But if you stick your head up and notice you are all alone, or if you notice a happy couple and it is the opposite of your own situation, then your loneliness quickly returns and you feel depressed. The word 'depressed' is a very common, everyday word. Almost all of us feel depressed. The ups and downs of life are common and normal and most people can recover quite quickly in dealing with depression...but some are not as fortunate.

Research shows that, 9.5 percent of the population, or about 20.9 million American adults, suffer from depression. Even Winston Churchill was not an exemption. Depression is a serious medical illness that involves the brain. It's more than just a feeling of being “blue” or “empty” for a few days. They persist and interfere with everyday life.

Depressive illnesses often interfere with normal functioning and cause pain and suffering not only to those who have a disorder, but also to those who care about them. Serious depression can destroy family life as well as the life of the ill person. But much of this suffering is unnecessary.

Depression can run in families, and usually starts between the ages of 15 and 30. However, not everyone who is depressed or manic depressive experiences every symptom. Some people experience a few symptoms, some many. Severity of symptoms varies with individuals and also varies over time.

Most people with a depressive illness do not seek treatment, although the great majority even those whose depression is extremely severe can be helped. Coping with depression is possible and there are many options. Thanks to years of fruitful research, there are now antidepressant medications and psychosocial therapies such as cognitive or behavioral, “talk”, or counseling that ease the pain of depression.

Depression can sometimes be caused by a chemical imbalance and medications are often used to correct this imbalance. A physician can prescribe the appropriate medications or refer a depressed person to another doctor who is more knowledgeable. There are several antidepressants available and sometimes more than one medication may be suggested. The physician may prescribe which medications to use based on several factors such as how has depression affected the activity, eating, sleep and interests patterns of a person.

Other components, such as anxiety, will also help determine which, if any, medication to use. Sometimes a trial and error method may be used to find the most effective medication for the depressed person which can often result in greater emotional distress.

Unfortunately, many people do not recognize that depression is a treatable illness. If you feel that you or someone you care about is one of the many undiagnosed depressed people, there are ways and steps that may save your own or someone else’s life.

Choosing your next corporate event planner

It all depends on what you want. If you want a great event, you will need to select a great Corporate Event Planner. It is that simple. You need an event planner who will not only plan one, but will also produce a perfect memorable corporate event for you. Now, the problem is how to choose a good corporate event planner. You can go about the selection process in two ways. First, you know what type of event you want. You know the theme, the food and beverage, entertainment, the venue, the lights, the sound and the overall atmosphere. You only need to know the where and the how of it, and whether it is within your budgetary constraints. Second, you have no clue what you’re doing. In this instance, you’ll need a Corporate Event Planner who can suggest themes and present them in such a way to have created a vision for you.

The Corporate Event Planner you are looking for should be comfortable with both the scenarios. He/she should have the ability to listen closely to your needs and those of your clients. They should also be able to effectively communicate your ideas while motivating the entire team towards working for the same goals. In essence, the corporate event planner has to be a visionary leader.

Corporate Event Planner – What to Look For

Now that you know what they do, you may wonder what qualifications you should look for. First, get yourself organized to know what type of event you are trying to produce. Be very clear about what you want and how to convey it. List all the components of your vision and have a very clear concept of the same. Once you have finalized your requirements, start looking for a Corporate Event Planner – an individual or a company – with enough experience to fulfill your needs. What you need to choose is a complete Corporate Event Planner; and not a florist, or a caterer, or a DJ. Your complete Corporate Event Planner should have the ability and experience to bring all these component services together as a unit and produce a flawless event that will be remembered for meticulous planning and perfect execution.

You can start looking for your Corporate Event Planner by visiting corporate events or by searching the Internet. Make a list of those that seem appropriate to your requirements, and start calling them. Explain your vision and wish list, and arrange for interviews with those who stand out. Ask them to bring their proposal and ask for references from past and current clients. Pick one who is creative, communicates well, has extraordinary vision, and the experience to pull it off.

A great Corporate Event Planner can produce not only a great and successful event, but also one that would be enjoyed by all.

Credit card rates and apr s

What’s the thing that is most prominent on any credit card ad? Well, it’s the credit card rate (or the APR, as we know it). The credit card rate is the most publicized thing in the world of credit cards.

A lot of people just compare the credit card rate of various credit cards and just go for the one that is offering the lowest credit card rate (or APR). Credit card rates are, in fact, one of the most important factors in the selection of a credit card (though not the only factor). Therefore, a proper understanding of credit card rates is even more necessary.

So, what is a credit card rate or APR? Very simply, credit card rate is the rate of interest that the credit card supplier will charge you with on the amount you owe them. The credit card supplier will charge you an interest only if you don’t make full payments in time.

Annual percentage rate (APR) is an expression of the effective interest rate that the borrower will pay on a loan, taking into account one-time fees and standardizing the way the rate is expressed. In other words the APR is the total cost of credit to the consumer, expressed as an annual percentage of the amount of credit granted. APR is intended to make it easier to compare lenders and loan options.

When you receive your credit card bill, it specifies the full amount you owe the credit card supplier. It also specifies the minimum payment that you must make (by a particular date), in order to avoid incurring a late fee and other inconvenience. You have the option of making either a full payment or just the minimum payment. If you make a full payment (by the due date), you are not charged any interest.

However, if you decide to go with the minimum payment or some amount that is lesser than the full amount, the credit card supplier will charge interest based on the credit card rate and the balance amount. This credit card rate is the interest rate that you agreed with them at the time of applying for the credit card. The credit card rate or the annual percentage rate, as is obvious, is an annual interest rate.

The credit card suppliers use this annual credit card rate to calculate the monthly credit card rate and then they calculate the interest on the balance amount that you owe them.

The balance amount here is simply = Full amount – (payment made by you). This interest is added to your balance for the next month (at the time of next billing cycle). If you again make a partial payment, the new balance is calculated again and the credit card rate (monthly one) applied to it for calculation of new interest; and it keeps going on and on until you make the full payment.

That’s how credit card rate acts in this vicious circle. So, credit card rate is termed as the most important consideration in choosing a credit card.

Scientific explanations for remote viewing

Eighteenth and nineteenth century physical science had completed and embellished the "golden age of a mechanistic and deterministic models of the universe" where the universe and its constituents are ruled by rigid interactive forces that can be measured, phenomena that can be predicted using mathematical tools, and where the universe or any system operating within it is made of the sum of its parts.

Light was thought to be an electromagnetic wave vibrating in an undetected, and later experimentally disproved media: "the ether", at certain rates of vibration that would define its color. It was part of the electromagnetic wave spectrum that allowed one to perceive an electromagnetic wave as heat, light , radio waves, or other electromagnetic radiations depending on the frequency of its vibrations. This spectrum had been well-defined by the equations of the English physicist James Clerk Maxwell in 1864.

Man's biology was reduced to a mechanical system albeit of extreme complexity, and thought was perceived to be but an epiphenomenon of the mechanical brain.

All this was very hygienic, logical, and comforting. It allowed to view the so-called invisible world of spiritual forces or entities as a personal unproven hypothesis, and permitted the justification of atheistic concept to be scientifically sound. Basically it allowed for purely atheistic politico-philosophies alike communism to find a sympathetic resonance within the "intelligentsia" and the masses.

It also gave a great mechanistic impetus and approach to the fields of biology, microbiology, psychology, neurobiology, and the allopathic technical mechanistic approach to the health sciences. Technology was "king" and the understanding of interactions between well-defined separated systems would bring the possible conquest of disturbances and imperfections in the "machinery" of biological entities.

Man having created a new religion called "science", which revered himself and his intellect, had the perception of having attained a Godlike control over nature.

By the end of 19th century the ultraviolet catastrophe - as it came to be known - put this whole hygienic view of the world in question, and the theory of "quanta" of Max Planck was introduced in 1900. The German physicist Max Planck introduced the notion of packets of energy that he called "quanta" in order to explain why the wavelength (color) of the radiation given off by heated objects did not rise in a continuous manner but in discontinuous spurts from value to value as they grew hotter. Danish physicist Niels Bohr, who was to become later one of the fathers of the "Manhattan Project" that developed the first US A-bomb during WWII, used in 1913 the theory of "quanta" of energy in order to prove that the whole world of atoms was full of "quantum" jumps. An electron could jump from one level of energy (so-called orbit) to another without appearing in-between these states. Discontinuity had been introduced in our equation of the universe!

In 1905 Albert Einstein defined light as made of quanta of energy or particles that he coined "photons" in his famous paper explaining the photoelectric effect for which he received a Nobel prize in 1923. He nevertheless acknowledged that light could also be defined as a wave, depending on the mode of observation used in a chosen experiment, and the particle/wave duality was introduced in our attempts to grasp the mysteries of nature.

The new physics of the beginnings of the twentieth century gave a mortal blow to the deterministic principles of the old school of thought. Time and space became relative notions according to the theory of relativity of Albert Einstein. Quantum physics stated that all particles of matter could be viewed either as material bodies or as waves. It allowed for one electron (or any other particle) to be in two locations at once (double slit experiment), and proved that one could not predict the next location of a particle by knowing its present one.

In the strange world of quantum physics, particles dematerialized themselves into waves (such as in transistors) and rematerialized themselves later into particles. This depended on the type of experiment they were subjected to, and most importantly: the choice made by a conscious observer as to how he or she would view these particles.

To most theorists, the phenomena of nature existed only as determined states as a conscious observer witnessed them, either directly, or through the artifacts of a measuring device. Quantum mechanics was born, and with it our view of reality would be forever changed.

In order to comprehend events in the phenomenal world, one needed to introduce a major variable that had until then been ignored: The consciousness (self reflective thought) of the observer. Without the perception of a material world by a conscious entity, there were great doubts as to the existence of that material reality independently of its observation.

In other words we make a potential reality manifest itself by our choices, even retroactively through time and immediately across the perceived infinite space, as the two experiments mentioned hereafter have proven, to the surprise of most physicists. Or, in other words, volition and free will operate outside the confines of time/space, and our impression of making choices is but a delayed awareness of events that higher levels of our minds have already made for us and therefore project to our awareness (ego) as a holographic packet of sensory information, post facto. We are therefore, at a higher level, the maker (subject) of our reality projected to one's self (object) within the web of probabilities of the quantum world that we "materialize" for both the subject and the object that are but two mirrors of one same reality: Consciousness, defined as self - reflective awareness.

Very advanced "remote viewers" know at which points volition is part of the higher levels of one's self and at which points it is made available to the lower (conscious level), as the quantum self or higher self merges with the lower self (ego).

Our courses attempts to allow the conscious part (reactive sensory apparatus operating as intellect) and the much higher vibratory mind (deep subconscious level) to merge with each other in awareness in order to allow a human individual to be more in control of one's reality and probable future. At the level of the higher mind time/space is instantly bridged. "Remote Viewing" and especially "Remote Influencing" allows one to connect to that level.

Mr. O'Donnell only mentions quantum physics in order to allow for the comforting view of reality of most individuals to be shattered and at the very least questioned. Each one is to find his or her own truth, using eventually his or her own path. The course is only meant as a guide to a new world, an opening to a new way of viewing and experiencing reality.

In 1982 at the Institute of Applied Physics and Theoretical Optics at the University of Paris, France, the team of physicists composed of Alain Aspect, Jean Dalibard and Gerard Roger made what may prove to be the greatest scientific discovery of this century. They proved experimentally that the world is non-local or non-separable. This is equivalent to saying that space, as we perceive it to be, does not exist, but is an illusion of our senses. Projected by whom? This is the big question that science tries to answer.

In the same field of quantum theory, time is not only relative but one can experimentally change the past, as the delayed choice experiment, carried out by scientists in the 80's at the University of Maryland and the University of Munich has proven.

Although this all seems to belong to the realm of science-fiction, it is a reality, albeit hard to accept, for all the minds that dwell in the world of the quanta: a world full of seemingly contradictions, surprises, and a certain sense of humor.

All modern disciplines are nowadays affected by it, short maybe of modern biology, neurobiology and surprisingly psychology that are still embracing a mechanistic view of thought and have not, as yet, been able to define it.

Quantum physics gave us the invention of the atomic bomb, the transistor, the computer chip, laser and devices using laser light as a conduct for information, Josephson junctions in supercomputers, superconductors etc.

You should never doubt your natural-born ability to operate at such a high vibratory level of thought. This ability has been proven since antiquity, and is still utilized successfully by highly secretive intelligence units belonging to the major world powers.

This is one case where a dose of skepticism in the field of thought orientation and exploration is unhealthy, and the fear of ridicule even more so. You have to become open-minded, as a child is. All major shifts in scientific thought have incurred the ire of the static-minded old Praetorian Guard of proven inadequate sclerotic systems that are beginning to hit too many walls loaded with points of singularity.

The methods taught in our courses are probably part of the dawn of a new paradigm shift in scientific thinking that will revolutionize and change the "old classical scientific concepts" of the late 19th century that still rule for most of us our interpretation of our perceived material reality. This will have major implications in the natural and health sciences, the biological perceptions and their assumed correlations, all other phenomenal science, and the understanding of what the mind is.

If we are in the process of constantly creating our reality by thinking about it in an individualized and global manner, and that science reflects but a snapshot of our attempt at understanding our Creation, a major shift in our thought - perception will induce totally different ways at experiencing the phenomenal world and controlling it to our desires.

All aspects of our lives in this new Millennium will, most likely, be profoundly transformed by it.

The introduction of consciousness as a major factor in the equation of reality by modern quantum physics is at the core of one of the major paradox of so-called psychic research. According to quantum physics, the thought of the observer has an influence upon the result of an experiment. Therefore, if we are co-creator of our reality by mere thought, the natural imbued skepticism of many scientists and their methodologies introduce a negative bias in the results that they would obtain in thought experiment such as "remote viewing" etc.

In other words, in order to achieve 100% success at proving the efficacy of "remote viewing or influencing " one would need to deal with scientists and tests subjects that are of the firm belief of the easy achievement of such mental feats, which would automatically be called a bias experimental protocol by the skeptical scientific community. That is why the best results at remote viewing were always achieved within intelligence and military secret units that pragmatically only cared about bridging time and space effectively using mental technologies, and were not the least concerned about peer recognition and the fear of being ridiculed.

Accentuate your looks with the right purse

We're positive that no matter how you see yourself -- trendy, corporate or casual -- your ultimate goal is to look "together" - to look beautiful and elegant in your poise and style of clothing and accessories. You spend hours looking for the right outfit and analyze it many times over to make sure it perfects and gives you that eye catching look. But do you give that same time and scrutiny to your accessories like your purse and handbag before throwing it over your shoulder and leaving the house?

You probably didn't know that a purse can flatten your curves almost as much as the right pair of pants or shirt. Now that we have your attention read on to determine your shape and what type purse you should carry.

Try to choose a purse shape that is the opposite of your body type. While the shape should oppose your body type for maximum flattery, the size of the bag should be in proportion to your figure. If you are tall and thin, look for the large sloppy bags that lay against you to compliment your figure. If you're short and voluptuous, play off opposites by choosing a handbag that is tall and rectangular or long and sleek.

Most women look great with a bag that hits mid-torso because it flatters the waist.

Take a look at the five basic body shapes and find the best purse for your shape:

• Narrow Top/Full Bottom

If you have full hips or tummy and small top, draw the eye up with accessories. You should carry a bag with short straps that fits snug under your arm.

• Full Top/Narrow Bottom

If the fullness you carry on top is unwanted (some do pay for it, you know) turn the area into a "no man's land". Nothing should cause the eye to linger so draw the eye downwards by carrying long slouching bags.

• Hour Glass

If you got it girl, flaunt it! This shape best describes a woman who is balanced on top and bottom with a defined waist and is considered the ideal body shape. You can carry off anything—lucky lady!!

• Narrow/Top to Bottom

If you are naturally thin, you have always faced the challenges that come with dressing this body shape. If you are unnaturally thin -- by choice -- you probably, prefer to show it off. The key is to add dimension to your profile. Don’t choose a bag that will hug the body too much. Think unstructured, bulky type purses. Try anything with horizontal detail in the patterns.

• WIDE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM

In general, the rounder your figure, the more structured your purse should be. For this body type, shape and color is important. Colors should be muted, monochromatic is best and prints should be kept to a minimum. Draw the eye to the top or center of the torso with a mid-length strap.

Now you know the right purse for you! Always remember to try on the bag—just like you would clothing and shoes. Remember that where the purse touches your body, that part of your body is accentuated. For example, if the purse is under your arm against your breast, the eye is drawn up to the bag.

So take the time to look for the right purse for you—it’s not always the same purse that your best friend carries. A purse should not only carry your personal belongings, it should add to your style and looks.

How indifference can bring you success

Here’s a scenario I’m sure you’re familiar with and I’m equally sure that it’s caused you a truckload of frustration and dejection. And don’t worry, you’re not the only one it’s happened to, it happens to millions of others and it happened to me too – on far too many occasions to include here.

Do you remember a time when you’d really had enough of your situation in life? Maybe you were sick and tired of servicing debt after debt. Perhaps you were bored with your job and had a burning desire to do something more exciting. Or maybe it was just something you wanted to do, a big adventure or learn a new skill or get together with someone you fancied like crazy.

You made your plan. It was detailed too, and you were absolutely determined that nothing would stop you. You had a burning desire to get what you wanted, to change your life for the better and enjoy the feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment success would surely bring.

To help you achieve your goals, you invested in self help books, courses and CD’s. Maybe you attended a couple of seminars? You said your affirmations, you wrote down your goals and you recited them every morning and every night, just like all of the gurus say.

Surely nothing could stop you? Nothing!

And yet, something did. Despite all of your good intentions and investments, the goals you so badly wanted to achieve just didn’t happen. But how could this be? After all of your efforts, how come you didn’t get what you wanted? You were unstoppable, you were determined – what stopped you?

Honestly, this happened to me time after time and I’m sure it’s happened to you, yes? Well, here’s why you and me both have endured this frustration.

When you consider making changes to your life, changes that will bring an enormous amount of happiness, fear will rise up like an angry storm and fill your mind with negatives, all beginning with “What if…”.

What if things go wrong, what if you get rejected, what if you fail, what if you run out of money, what if you don’t like it, what if, what if, what if! Your fear knows you are putting yourself into a new situation, a situation that will open you up to various risks and it does not like this one little bit!

Fear will do everything in its power to stop you from leaving the security of your comfortable life. It knows that if it persists enough with these negative possibilities, you won’t even take the first step towards your goals. Result? You continue in the same way, you don’t achieve your goals and you don’t change your life for the better.

I’m going to share with you a very powerful way to get over this obstacle that your fear continually puts in front of you. And it’s so simple, you will be amazed at how effective this technique can be! But don’t let its simplicity deter you from putting it to use.

Whenever you have these negative thoughts in your mind, use the power of indifference by using two words: “SO WHAT.”

For example, when you have a thought that says something like: “What if I start this new IT course and I’m no good at it. I’ll look like a fool and I’ll have wasted time and money.” Just say:

“So what? I’ll give it my best shot and maybe it won’t be good enough but so what?”

Another: “She’s absolutely gorgeous but if I go over, I might screw up or she might tell me to get lost and I’ll look stupid.”

“So what? If she does, then so what, her loss I’ll get someone else.”

It’s so powerful because you’re indifferent to negative outcomes. You do your best to get what you want but if it doesn’t work out, if others don’t like it, if others laugh at you then SO WHAT?

As soon as I used this technique I made rapid progress and I urge you to try it, it will help you conquer fear and take the first step towards your goals.

Until next time.
